If I remember correctly, the language was something like: "All vehicles except...", followed by a short list of inadmissible vehicles. So no problem with '07 Prius. Don't know re '08 model. I recommend calling RIV if in doubt - they are quite friendly. US Prius: the ‘07 Prius was listed as admissible on the RIV list, alongside most (=almost all) Toyota vehicles.
